Krysten Ritter was born Krysten Alyce Ritter on December the 16th 1981 in Pennsylvania and is an American actress and model. Scouted at the age of fifteen in a local shopping mall, the talent established herself as an international model by the age of eighteen. With a strong film and television career to date, she began in 2003 with a small role in Mona Lisa Smile, some other films she has worked in include 27 Dresses, Confessions of a Shopaholic and Veronica Mars.
Best known in television for roles such as her leading part in the comedy Don’t Trust the B— in Apartment 23, Ritter has reached international stardom for her role as Jessica Jones in the Marvel Cinematic Universe television show on Netflix also titled Jessica Jones, she has also reprised the character in The Defenders and is a fan favourite for her portrayal.
