Kip Moore is an American country singer-songwriter from Tifton, GA, currently signed to MCA Nashville. He has currently released one album, 2012’s Up All Night, featuring the singles “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck”, “Beer Money”, “Hey Pretty Girl”, and “Mary Was the Marrying Kind”. “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck” hit number 1 on the US Country charts, with “Beer Money” and “Hey Pretty Girl” reaching numbers 7 and 8, respectively. Moore’s debut album received mixed reviews, with the most favorable coming from Great American Country, which called it “a unique sound that fits somewhere between ramblin’ man storytelling, hook-driven contemporary country and atmospheric blue-collar rock”. Moore has been mentored by songwriter Brett James throughout his career. Moore sites Tom Petty, Willie Nelson, Bob Seger and Bruce Springsteen among his musical influences.
