A South Korean actor and singer, Kim Hyun-joong had his debut in the band SS501. The group originated on 2005 and rose in popularity rapidly, with members such as Heo Young-saeng, Kim Kyu-jong, Park Jung-min and Kim Hyung-jun, the group won over twenty-five awards during their time together.
Pursuing a solo career in 2011, his debut EP was Break Down and the single Break Down, which was a critical and commercial hit and lead to six album releases and thirty-four total wins. As an actor, Hyun-joong played William in the television series Can Love Be Refilled and most recently the show Inspiring Generation as Shin Jung-tae. In addition to this the artist has also worked on reality shows such as We Got Married and Barefooted Friends.
