Kidd Kidd

Rapper Kidd Kidd was born Curtis Stewart and was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. After being discovered by Lil Wayne, he was signed to Young Money Entertainment and became part of the hip hop group Squad Up. In 2008, Kidd Kidd made a vocal appearance on Lil Wayne’s song “Mrs. Officer”, and three years later, had the opportunity to meet 50 Cent. Two weeks later, however, Kidd Kidd was shot six times in his mother’s driveway in New Orleans, yet made a full recovery after having intense surgery. He then fortunately landed a recording contract with G-Unit Records, and appeared on Tony Yayo’s song “Haters” within weeks. Kidd Kidd would go on to work closely with 50 Cent, appearing on many of his albums including the 2014 record Animal Ambition
