Keke Palmer was born August 26th, 1993 in Harvey, Illinois as Lauren Keymana Palmer. Both of her parents were former actors, and Keke began singing with her church choir when she was five. Keke’s breakthrough role came in Barber Shop 2: Back In Business (2004). She has also appeared in Grease, Live!, Scream Queens, Brotherly Love, and CrazySexyCool.
Keke Palmer received the BET YoungStars Award in both 2010 and 2014. She has also been the recipient of five Image Awards.
