Kathryn Dean

Singer-songwriter Kathryn Dean was born in San Diego, California in 1996. She states that she began singing as a way to annoy her older brother when they were children.

2014 saw her debut as a singer-songwriter when she performed at Sunset Sessions and released her debut EP in September of the same year. Her songs, “So Undeniable” and “Told You So,” were featured on the hit television show, “MALHACAO,” in Brazil. Her first single, “I’ll Show You Crazy,” was also released in 2014. Dean has been a semi-finalist twice in ReverbNation’s Unsigned Only American Songwriting Contest and has won an International Acoustic Music Award. Her debut album, “Hit the Lights,” was released in April 2015.
