Kaskade

Performing under the name Kaskade, DJ and producer Ryan Raddon was born in Chicago, Illinois, on Feburary 25, 1971. His first single was released in 2001, titled “What I Say”, and after a series of fairly successful releases, he made available his second album In the Moment, which went to the #5 spot on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. Following this achievement, he released Love Mysterious in 2006, and that year, signed a deal with Ultra Records.

In the mid- to late-2000s, Kaskade played a notable part in reviving house music along with fellow DJ deadmau5. He worked with the latter to release the single “Move for Me”, followed by “I Remember” in 2008. Kaskade made an appearance at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami in 2012, and one month later at the Coachella Valley Music Festival. In late 2013, he was honored at the Grammy Awards with two nominations: one for the track “Atmosphere” as Best Dance Recording and the other for his album Atmosphere as Best Dance/Electronica Album.
