Joy Wilson is an American food blogger. She is best known for her blog Joy the Baker. Wilson graduated from college with a degree in English. While in college she started working in the food industry and realized she had a love for creating food. Wilson started her blog in 2008. She is also the owner of the business The Bakehouse in New Orleans, which offers classes, workshops, and private parties. In 2012 she released her debut book titled Joy the Baker Cookbook: 100 Simple and Comforting Recipes. She has since released the books Joy the Baker Homemade Decadence: Irresistibly Sweet, Salty, Gooey, Sticky, Fluffy, Creamy, Crunch Treats and Joy the Baker Over Easy: Sweet and Savory Recipes for Leisurely Days. Joy has a large following on social media with 450k followers on Instagram, 210k followers on Facebook, and 60k followers on Twitter.
