Johnny Reid

Johnny Reid, born Jon Kirkland Reid on August the 21st 1974 in Scotland and is a Scottish-Canadian country music singer and songwriter. Moving to Canada from Scotland in his youth, the artist holds education from Turner Fenton Secondary School and Bishop’s University, creating music since 1997, with the release of his debut album Another Day, Another Dime. This debut album went mainly under the radar, and it was his second album, the self titled Johnny Reid, released in 2000 that saw some mainstream success.

With over ten studio albums created, his more recent music is 2015’s, What Love Is All About and Revival, released in 2017. With many of his albums going Platinum within Canada, Reid has won many awards for his work, including multiple awards from the Canadian Country Music Association and multiple Juno Awards.
