Born Charles Joel Kinnaman, the Swedish American actor is known well in Sweden for playing the lead role in the film Easy Money. With a career that began as a Swedish child actor, he enrolled in the Swedish Academic School of Drama as an adult. Best known in the United States he is known for playing Will Conway in the US Version of House of Cards alongside veteran actress Robin Wright. The critically acclaimed series has won multiple awards during its run.
He then played Stephen Holder in AMC’s The Killing, and Alex in the recent RoboCop remake. Most widely known for his role as Rick Flag in Suicide Squad he appeared in the 2018 television show Altered Carbon as the lead Takeshi Kovacs. The actor won a Saturn award for his part in The Killing.
