James Purefoy

An English actor, director and producer, James Purefoy attended the Central School of Speech and Drama. His early career involved stage productions of Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth, The Man Who Came to Dinner and The Tempest. He had a start in roles in film such as Mansfield Par, Women Talking Dirty and A Knights Tale alongside Heath Ledger.
With an impressive number of television credits, the actor has held lead roles in Coasting, Rome as Mark Antony, The Summit as Thom Lightstone , Hap and Leonard as Hap Collins and most recently has appeared in the Netflix dystopian television show Altered Carbon in a lead role. The television show has so far garnered positive reviews and become a cyberpunk hit internationally.
