Jaden Smith was born on July 8, 1998 in Malibu, California. He is the son of famous acting couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. It was this connection that would kick start young Jaden’s career when he starred as the son of real life father Will in Pursuit of Happiness (2006). It was this performance that got him nominated for a stream of awards despite his tender age.
His next major role was when he took another leading role opposite Jackie Chan in a remake of classic film The Karate Kid (2010). His performance got him another host of nominations as well as a young artist award for best young actor in a feature film. After this he would again star alongside his father in After Earth (2014), which received mixed reviews. As well as acting, Jaden has also tried to carve out a music career and he released an album titles CTV2 in 2014.
