Jackson Browne was born in Heidelberg, Germany on Oct 9, 1948. He signed with Nina Music in 1967. This helped him secure songs on the albums by Steve Noonan and Tom Rush.

He signed with Asylum Records in 1971 and released an album the year after. This release includes “Doctor My Eyes” which made it to the Top Ten hit singles. In 1973, he released another album For Everyman where he worked with David Lindley.

This album was followed by Late for the Sky, The Pretender, Running on Empty, and Hold Out. Hold Out became the No. 1 album during its release. Browne’s biggest hit became “Someone’s Baby” and the song made it to No. 7 of the U.S. hit chart. His latest release is the single The Dreamer in 2017 which features Los Cenzontles.
