Jacqueline Marie “Jackie” Evancho was born on April 9, 2000 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She gained her popularity as a singer at an early age and has issued an EP and seven albums since 2009.
Evancho traveled around the United States in 2012 to tour and promote her popular album, Songs from the Silver Screen. In 2013, she hosted benefit concerts at prominent venues such as Carnegie Hall and Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas. Robert Redford agreed to cast her in The Company You Keep in 2013, and she also got invited to model for Guess Kids, an invitation she gladly accepted.
Evancho released a Christmas album titled Someday at Christmas in 2016 and she was also the singer at the inauguration of President Donald Trump. She has had several top hits, and her awards for her albums include a platinum album, a gold album, and three Billboard 200 top 10 debuts. She has also been invited to make three solo Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) concert specials.
