Coming from Los Angeles, California, Intronaut was formed on 2004. It started as a side project by Sacha Dunable of Anubis Rising and Danny Walker of Uphill Battle. They wrote songs together, influenced by the music of Mastodon. They were later joined by Leon del Muerte and Joe Lester, releasing Intronaut’s EP “Null” in 2006 under Goodfellow Records.
Their debut studio LP “Void” was released in 2008 where del Muerte was replaced by Dave Timnick. The band’s sophomore full-length “Prehistoricisms Valley of Smoke” came in 2010 under Century Media. In 2013, “Habitual Levitations” followed. Their fourth studio LP “The Direction of Last Things” was released in 2015.
