Hypocrisy

Hypocrisy is a Swedish death metal band formed in Ludvika, Sweden in 1991 by Peter Tägtgren. The current members of the band are Peter Tägtgren on vocals and guitars, Tomas Elofsson on guitars, Mikael Hedlund on bass guitar, and Horgh on drums. The band started in 1991 as a traditional death metal band, but over the years has transformed into a melodic death metal band. They released their debut studio album in 1992 titled Penetralia and have since released the albums Osculum Obscenum, The Fourth Dimension, Abducted, The Final Chapter, Hypocrisy, Into the Abyss, Catch 22, The Arrival, Virus, A Taste of Extreme Divinity, and End of Disclosure. They have also released four EPs, two live albums, one compilation album, and three video albums. Hypocrisy releases its music and albums through the label Nuclear Blast.
