Heather McDonald was born on San Fernando Valley, California on June 14, 1970. She made various television appearance since 2001. Some of her projects include the TV series Frasier, Watching Ellie, Reno 911! and Drake & John. She also appeared on Chelsea Lately, a show where she also serves as the writer.
Her writing credits also include an episode on The Keenen Ivory Wayans Show, The Lyricist Lounge Show, and Female Moments. She also wrote the documentary Heather McDonald: I Don’t Mean to Brag which she also produced.
In 2010, McDonald published her memoir which made it to the The New York Times Best-Seller list. She released another memoir in 2013 My Inappropriate Life (Some Stories Not Suitable for Nuns, Children, or Mature Adults).
