Greta Van Fleet is an American rock band formed in Frankenmuth, Michigan in 2012. The current members of the band are Josh Kiszka on vocals, Jake Kiszka on guitar, Sam Kiszka on bass guitar, and Danny Wagner on drums. After forming in 2012 the band recorded two songs “Standing On” and “Cloud Train.” In 2014 they released a live EP that contained their first two songs and several others. They released their debut EP in 2017 titled Black Smoke Rising and followed it up the same year with their second EP titled From the Fires. The EP Black Smoke Rising charted at number 182 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart and the EP From the Fires charted at number 22 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart and also charted in several other countries. In 2018 they released their debut studio album titled Anthem of the Peaceful Army. The album charted at number 3 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart and charted in several other countries. It was certified gold by the MC. The band has been nominated for several awards and has won a Grammy Award, a Loudwire Music Award, and an iHeartRadio Music Award.
