Genevieve Nnaji

Genevieve Nnaji is a Nigerian actress, producer, director and singer born in Mbaise, Imo, Nigeria on May 3, 1979. She started her acting career at 8 years old in the television soap opera Ripples. She has since had roles or been the producer and director of the films Most Wanted, Love Boat, Fire Dancer, Battle Line, Sharon Stone, Blood Sister, Church Business, Deadly Mistake, Last Weekend, Honey, Emergency Wedding, Late Marriage, Jealous Lovers, Butterfly, Passions, Goodbye New York, Women Affair, Bumper to Bumper, He Lives in Me, Goodbye New York, Into Temptation, We Are One, Girls Cot, 30 Days, Keep My Will, Broken Tears and many more. In 2004 she signed a recording contract with EKB Records and released her debut studio album One Logologo Line. Throughout her career she has been nominated for numerous awards and has won two Nigeria Entertainment Awards, a Nollywood Movies Award, a Ghana Movie Award, an Africa Movie Award and others. In 2011 she was honored as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic by the Nigerian government for her contribution to Nollywood.
