Gemma Collins is an English television personality, author, and businesswoman born in Romford, England on January 31, 1981. She is best known for appearing on the reality television show The Only Way Is Essex. Collins made her debut on television in 2011 on the show The Only Way Is Essex and has since been on the shows Splash!, Celebrity Big Brother, In Therapy, Sugar Free Farm, Big Brother, Celebs Go Dating, Celebrity MasterChef, Dancing on Ice and more. She has also made guest appearances on the shows Loose Women, Fake Reaction, Celebrity Juice, Food Glorious Food, Mel & Sue, Sunday Side Up, Virtually Famous, Safeword, Kendra On Top, The Wright Stuff, Your Face or Mine?, Lorraine and others. In 2013 she released her debut book titled Basically: My Real Life as an Essex Girl. The book became a bestseller in the first week of its release. She released her second book in 2018 titled The GC: How to Be a Diva.
