Coming from Melbourne, Fractures is a band led by Mark Zito. His music is unique, dark, and alluring. Zito became popular for his singles “Twisted” and “Cadence” earning over than 500k online streams. He also received praise from the likes of Gotye and Chet Faker. He also acquired the “Single of the Week” status in The Guardian UK. Now, Zito fronts for the five-piece band Fractures.
Sadly, Zito had an accident fracturing his neck just days before his sell-out debut show in Melbourne. He was not able to play for three months. However, he spent this time to reflect on his musical passion and planned to keep going after his recovery. The band’s self-titled EP was released in June 2014.
