Fashawn

Born on the 19th of October 1988, Fashawn or legally known as Santiago Leyva, learned to write his music as young as 12 years old. Though he didn’t have a great family upbringing, his perseverance led him to release his first mix tape at the age of 15.

Fashawn was later recognized by Planet Asia, in which they were impressed by his music. Since then he started putting up more mixtapes, like the “Grizzly City” and “The Phenom and One Shot, One Kill”. Other artists were also greatly impressed with his craft, including Mick Boogie and Terry Urban.

As he pursued his music career, Fashawn was then recognized in the world scene, having included on certain hip hop websites, magazines, and other media. His biggest break was with his album “Boy Meets World”.
