Eric Church, born Kenneth Eric Church in Granite Falls, NC, is an American country musician who has released four albums to date, three of which are certified Gold and one of which is certified Platinum. His first album, Sinners Like Me, debuted in 2006 with three top 20 tracks; subsequent albums have included top 10 and number 1 hits like “Love Your Love the Most”, “Drink in my Hand”, “Give Me Back My Hometown”, and “Hell on the Heart”. 2013’s “The Only Way I Know”, a collaboration with Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean, was Church’s third and latest number 1 single. Church’s album Chief won the 2012 CMA Award and the 2013 ACM Award for Album of the Year; his song “Springfield” also won Song of the Year at the 2012 American Country Awards. Church has cited outlaw rock and prominent figures like Merle Haggard and Kris Kristofferson as his musical inspiration, as well as hard rock bands like AC/DC.
