Elisabeth Hasselbeck is an American television personality, author, and talk show host born in Cranston, Rhode Island on May 28, 1977. She became well known in 2001 after competing in the second season of the reality television show Survivor. In 2001 she was a judge for the Miss USA 2001 pageant. She became a host of Style Network’s show The Look for Less from 2002 to 2003. In 2003 she became a host on the ABC talk show The View. Hasselbeck, along with her The View co-stars, won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host in 2009. In 2013 she left The View to co-host the Fox News morning show Fox & Friends. She announced her retirement in 2015 and left Fox & Friends on December 22, 2015. Hasselbeck has written several books, including The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide, Deliciously G-Free: Food So Flavorful They’ll Never Believe It’s Gluten-Free, and Point of View: A Fresh Look at Work, Faith, and Freedom.
