Born on January 28, 1981, Elijah Jordan Wood came from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA. His parents are Debbie and Warren Wood. At a young age, his mother brought him to an International Modeling and Talent Association in Los Angeles. Since then, he got bookings for small parts in television. His first major film role was for the drama “Avalon” in 1990. He then became an in-demand child actor.

He appeared in films like “Paradise,: “Radio Flyer,” and “The Good Son.” The major boost in his career was for his starring in the J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring,” “The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers,” and “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.” His voice was also featured for the film “Happy Feet.”
