Ekkah is a duo composed of Rebekah Pennington and Rebecca Wilson who were both former members of the Arcadian Kicks. The duo formed Ekkah in 2013 and Year One signed them in 2014. They have also supported various artists including Jess Glynne, vocalist of Clean Bandit.
Under the label, they will release the EP Last Chance to Dance. The said release contained the title track and three demos. This was followed by the singles Space Between Us/ What’s Up, Small Talk, and Ekkah x Real Love in 2016. In the same year, the duo also worked with DaM Funk on the song “Space Between Us.”
They have performed at the Glastonbury Festival, Secret Garden Party, and Bestival. Ekkah’s most recent works were released in 2019 and this includes the singles Just a Thing, Backseat Driver, and Homesick.
