Back in the ‘70s, Earth, Wind & Fire is among the critically acclaimed and musically accomplished music band. Maurice White together with the rest of the band incorporated different types of music genres including jazz, gospel, rock & roll, smooth soul, blues, folk, African music, and disco. The band was originally founded in 1969, back in Chicago.
In 1975, Earth, Wind & Fire completed their movie soundtrack entitled “That’s the Way of the World.” The single “Shining Star,” reached the top of charts, both on R&B and pop categories. It also won a Grammy Awards for the category “Best R&B Vocal Performance by a Group.” Maurice White, the band leader died on February 3, 2016 leaving a legacy in the world of music.
