Dierks Bentley

Dierks Bentley, born in Phoenix, AZ and currently based out of Nashville, is an American country singer-songwriter. He is currently signed to Capitol Records. His debut self-titled album was released in 2003 and he has released six additional albums since then, including a bluegrass album released in 2010 and his most recent release, 2014’s Riser. The singles “Drunk on a Plane” and “I Hold On” off his latest record have both been certified Gold by the RIAA. Both his debut album and it’s 2005 follow-up Modern Day Drifter are certified platinum albums. Dierks Bentley has written twelve Number 1 singles in his career, has a membership in the Grand Ole Opry, and has performed for the President of the United States. He also has 11 Grammy nominations and won 2004’s CMT Music Award’s Breakthrough Video of the Year Award for “What Was I Thinkin”, 2004’s ACM Awards Top New Artist Award, 2005’s CMA Horizon Award, and 2009’s CMT Performance of the Year Award for “Country Boy”.
