Dhani Harrison is the son of The Beatles band member, the late George Harrison. His name is comprised of the sixth and seventh notes in the Indian music scale. Dhani first became involved in the music profession when he helped complete his father’s posthumous solo album “Brainwashed” in 2001. He has since formed his own band thenewno2, going on to perform at festivals including Coachella and Lollapalooza. He is best known for sharing the stage with Perry Farrell, of the band Jane’s Addiction, three times to cover The Velvet Underground’s “Sweet Jane.”

Following in his father’s footsteps, Dhani Harrison has been as heavily involved in film work as music, contributing to the score of films including “Beautiful Creatures” (2013), and TV series including “Good Girls Revolt,” “The Divide,” and the Paul Giamatti-fronted “Outsiders.” His album debut was 2017‘s “In Parallel,” on the BMG label. Dhani Harrison is a prolific studio collaborator, with such acts as Beatles-familiar Eric Clapton, Wu-Tang Clan, and Pearl Jam. At the 2004 induction of George Harrison into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Dhani performed on stage with Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, and Prince to perform “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” in memorandum.
