Demetria McKinney, born Demetria Dyan McKinney on August the 27th 1979 in New Mexico and is an American actress and singer. The actresses career began with theatre in a play by Tyler Perry, she then went on to collaborate with the creator again in a long standing role in the sitcom, Tyler Perry’s House of Payne where she portrayed Janine to critical acclaim.
Some of the actresses’ best known roles are in the television show, Saints & Sinners where she currently portrays Tamara, Superstition, a drama series in which she plays Mary and as of 2018 portrays Janine again in, Tyler Perry’s The Paynes and The Quad. A successful signer, the artist has released her debut album, Officially Yours in 2017.
