Coming from the former Grateful Dead, Dead & Company are composed of members Bob Weir for guitars, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzman for drums, Jeff Chimenti for keyboards, Oteil Burgridge for bass and drums, and John Mayer for guitars. The Grateful Dead disbanded, but went back to business with three original members, and adding John Mayer to form the new Dead & Company.
As a newfound group, Dead & Company had their first concert in Madison Square Garden on December 31, 2015. After the initial performance, John Mayer announced that a series of tours that was held in 2016.
