Dae Dae, born Marquavis Goolsby, is a rapper from Atlanta, Georgia who earned a lot of success off his debut single, “Wat U Mean (Aye Aye Aye).” Released in 2015, the song was quickly remixed by Young Dro, exposing the song to a broader audience. The success resulted in Dae Dae signing with 300 Entertainment, under which he released his debut mixtape, “Four Reasons.” The mixtape featured the single “Wat U Mean,” “Spend It,” as well as a feature from fellow New Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan. “Spend It” was quickly remixed by Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz, finally bringing Dae Dae’s music to an audience outside of Atlanta.
