Courtney Lee was born on October 3, 1985 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Lee played for the Western Kentucky University for his college career. He set a Western Kentucky University record for freshman scoring with 461 points in 31 games. He was also named Sun Belt Player of the Year during his senior season.
Lee was drafted 22nd overall by the Orlando Magic in the 2008 NBA Draft. He was traded to the New Jersey Nets for the 2009-2010 season where he recorded a career high of 30 points in one game. He has also played for the Houston Rockets, Boston Celtics, Memphis Grizzlies, Charlotte Hornets and the New York Knicks.
