Born Colin Kelly Jost, Colin Jost was born on June 29th, 1982 in Staten Island, New York and is an actor, comedian and screenwriter. Graduating from Harvard University, Jost joined the hit comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live right after university in 2005 as a writer; he then transitioned into a cast member.
As a stand up comedian, Jost has made appearance on such television shows as Late Night With Jimmy Fallon as well as on HBO and TBS, he has appeared at Chicago’s Just for Laughs festival and the Montreal festival, appearing as a stand up comedian. Jost has won a Peabody Award and four Writers Guild Awards for his work on Saturday Night Live, he has also been nominated for nine Emmy Awards for his work.
