Claudia Schiffer

Claudia Schiffer is a German model, actress, producer, and fashion designer born in Westphalia, West Germany on August 25, 1970. She holds the record for the model with the most magazine covers, appearing on over a thousand covers. In 1987 she was scouted in a night club at 17 years old by the head of Metropolitan Model Management, Michel Levaton, and was signed to the agency as a model. Schiffer has walked in fashion shows for a number of fashion houses, including Christian Dior, Michael Kors, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren and others. She has appeared in advertising campaigns for companies like Gap, Pepsi, Revlon, Prada, Emporio Armani, Max Mara, Bulgari, Chanel, Balmain, and more. Some of the magazines she has appeared on the covers of include, Rolling Stone, Elle, Time, Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar among others. In 1994 she made her debut in film in the movie Richie Rich and continued landing roles in films like The Blackout, Friends & Lovers, Black and White, Chain Of Fools, In Pursuit, Zoolander, Love Actually, and more. She has also appeared in a number of documentaries, including Catwalk, Happy Birthday Elizabeth: A Celebration of Life, An Audience with Elton John, Beautopia, The Sound of Claudia Schiffer, Around Claudia Schiffer, and David Copperfield: 15 Years of Magic.
