Christina Hammer

Christina Hammer was born in Novodolinsky, Kazakhstan on August 16, 1990. She is the WBO and WBC Middleweight Women’s World Champion. She is also known by her moniker Lady Hammer.

She held the titles WBF Middleweight, WBO and WBF Super Middleweight Championship Belts. In 2011 and 2013, she was the WBF Female Fighter of the Year. She was also the 2013 WBO Female Fighter of the Year. In 2016, she was the BDB Female Boxer of the Year and in 2017 she was the HERQUL Female Boxer of the Year. She was also the first European female fighter to receive WBO’s Diamond Ring.

She was set to go against Claressa Shields in November 2018 for the undisputed championship. However, the fight was postponed as Hammer is seeking treatment for a medical condition.
