Christina Aguilera was born Christian Maria Aguilera on December the 18th 1980 in New York City and is an American singer, songwriter, actress television personality and reality show personality. As a child she was known as a little girl with a big voice, winning a talent show at the age of eight where she sung Whitney Houston. He then went on to appear in the show Star Search and The Mickey Mouse Club, coming to mainstream media with her recording of Reflection for Disney’s Mulan.
She then signed with RCA Records, with who she launched her career with her self-titled album and the hit songs What a Girl Wants and Genie in a bottle. With seven studio albums released so far, the most recent, Lotus was a critical and commercial success. With over four hundred nominations and over two hundred awards she has won five Grammy awards and eight Billboard Awards.
