Chris Lemmon

Christopher Lemmon was born on June 22, 1954 in Los Angeles, California to actor and actress Jack Lemmon and Cynthia Stone. He followed his parents’ footsteps and had a film career mostly in the 80s and 90s, appearing in Airport ’77 (1977), That’s Life! (1986) and Dad (1989) alongside his father. He had moderate success standing on his own in films like Duet (1987), Thunder in Paradise (1994), and Wishmaster (1997). He wrote a memoir to his father titled A Twist of Lemmon: A Tribute to My Father in 2006 which celebrated his father, Jack Lemmon, from his point of view with family tales, intimate father-son conversations, and anecdotes. The book was adapted as a one-man stage performance where Chris plays his own father, Jack, taking the show all around the United States.
