Chris Evans is an English television presenter, radio DJ, voice actor, and radio and television director born in Warrington, England on April 1, 1966. He started his career as a teenager broadcasting for Piccadilly Radio in Manchester in 1983. He moved to London to work as a presenter for BBC’s radio station Greater London Radio. After a few months of working there he started presenting on The Greenhouse. In 1992 he switched from radio to television and became a co-host on the Channel 4 show The Big Breakfast. In 1994 he left The Big Breakfast and started his own television production company named Ginger Productions. Their first major program was Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush that ran from 1994 to 1995. Throughout his career he has been the host and presenter on a number of radio and television shows, including Too Much Gravy, Weekday Breakfast show, TFI Friday, Top Gear, TV Mayhem, Famous and Fearless, Don’t Forget Your Suitcase and more. In 2009 he published his debut autobiography titled It’s Not What You Think and has since released two more autobiographies, Memoirs of a Fruitcake and Call The Midwife. In 2000 he became the UK’s highest paid entertainer and in 2017 was the BBC’s highest paid presenter.
