Contact

Coming from Rockford, Illinois, United States, Cheap Trick was formed in 1973. The band was led by guitarist Rick Nielsen, having the music similar to the likes of the Beatles, the Wjo, and the Move. The band’s roots came from the band Fuse from the late ‘60s. Fuse was formed by Nielsen, Tom Petersson.

Their album “Epic” on 1969 failed, which made them to relocate to Philadelphia and change the band’s name to Sick Man of Europe. They toured Europe in 1972 but failed, so they returned to Illinois by 1973. They changed the band’s name again to Cheap Trick, adding members Bun Carlos and Randy Hogan. However, Hogan was fired after a year and was replaced by Robin Zander.
