Cazzette

The duo Cazzette is comprised of Swedish-born DJs Sebastian Furrer and Alexander Björklund. Originating from Stockholm, the two decided to team up in 2011 to join the wave of DJs and producers that were pouring out of the country in the EDM genre. Shortly after, the duo and their manager Ash Pournouri coined the sound that they would become most noted for: “dubhouse”. Cazzette was signed to the label of fellow DJ Avicii, At Night Management, and the same year they signed the contract, they were invited to create their own rendition of the Swedish House Mafia song “Save the World”. Climbing slowly up the charts, Cazzette released their remix of “Set Fire to the Rain” by Adele, which earned them a spot on the Hype Machine’s list of popular downloads.

After making an appearance at Radio City Music Hall, the duo dropped their single “Beam Me Up”, which was included on a collection album of their best remixes known as Strictly Cazzette. That year, in 2012, Cazzette released their debut EP, Eject, which became very popular due to the fact that it was made available through Spotify.
