Cash Out

The Atlanta rapper Cash Out was born John-Michael Hakim Gibson on August 15, 1990, in Columbus Georgia. He later to moved to Atlanta, where he was raised, yet he got into trouble early in his teenage years when he began hustling on the streets. When he was 18, he had already racked up drug and gun charges, but when he was found not guilty of all of them, he decided to give up the fast life he had been leading and instead focus his attention on music.

In 2011, he released his debut mixtape It’s My Time through Bases Loaded Records, which garnered much attention for the catch single “Cashin Out”. This release caught the eye of record labels, and Cash Out eventually signed with Epic Records in 2012. Epic gave him the opportunity to re-release the song under their label, which he did, and the song shot to #36 on the Billboard Hot 100 List. He then released the single “Big Booty” that July, followed by the single “Another Country” with Future in 2013.
