Bukanas de Culiacan is a Mexican group of singers founded on November 24th, 2005 in Culiacan, Mexico. The group specializes in the genre of narcocorridos which is a sub-genre of northern traditional ballad music known as a “drug ballad.” The group’s members consist of Rey Perez, Orlando, Edgar Quintero, Jackal, and Edgar Rivas.

Bukanas de Culiacan is part of a larger music group known as The Altered, a collective of narcocorridos bands brought together to form a dominate representation of the narcocorridos genre. The group burst onto the Mexican music scene in 2010 with the release of their debut album Los Reyes del Movimiento Alterado. After the success of their debut album the group released their follow up entitled Entre Armas Y Billetes in 2012.  Bukanas de Culiacan then released the album Mas Fuertes Que Nunca in 2013. 2014 saw the group release their next album called En Vivo Desde La Sierra. 2015 saw Bukanas de Culiacan release two albums entitled En Vivo and La Invitacion. 2016 was a landmark year for the group as their rise in popularity lead to the release of three albums: Oxxo Time, En Vivo Kusey Bar Culiacan Sinaloa, and a compilation called Top 20 Deluxe. 2017 brought about a new studio album from the group called Las Mas Pedidas de Las Privadas.
