Bruce Willis

Walter Bruce Willis was born on March 19, 1955 in West Germany in the city of Idar-Oberstein. Willis family moved from West Germany to Penns Grove, New Jersey shortly after Bruce was born. It was in high school when Bruce discovered drama and theater arts.  He was a student at Montclair State University and took a course in drama. After one year as a student, Bruce moved to New York to pursue his acting career.  His first role was a role of a bartender in a small movie. His significant breakthrough was after the role of David Addison (1985-1989) and the role of John Mclane in Die Hard (1988), and its sequels. In 1987, he won a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award for his work in Moonlighting.

Bruce Willis has appeared in over 60 movies. Some of his most famous movies are Pulp Fiction in 1994, The Fifth Element from 1997, Armageddon (1998), and The Sixth Sense (1999). At the time he also did voice-overs for the Look Who’s Talking, Over the Hedge and Beavis and Butt-Head Do America. After the 2000’s, he had a few movies between 2002 and 2012 with less success in the box offices, but they were still popular with the fans. Some of these include The Whole Nine Yards, Unbreakable, Sin City, Red, The Expendables 2, and Looper. Bruce Willis is also known as a singer and has the blues album “Return to Bruno.”
