Bellamy Young

Bellamy Young is an American actress and singer born in Asheville, North Carolina on February 19, 1970. She is best known for her role as Melody Grant on the television series Scandal that won her a Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2014. She started her acting career in theater performing in shows on and off Broadway like The Life, Merrily We Roll Along, Faust and others. In 1995 she made her debut on television in the show Another World and continued landing roles in shows like Law & Order, The District, Frasier, ER, Scrubs, Medium, Close to Home, Grey’s Anatomy, Boston Legal, Two and a Half Men, The Mentalist and more. She has also had roles in a number of films, including Larceny, We Were Soldiers, Trust Me, This is Not a Test, In My Sleep, Joint Body, The Night Stalker, A Wrinkle in Time among others.
