Known to the world as Bangladesh, DJ and record producer Shondrae Crawford was raised in Des Moines, Iowa, yet later relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. He started creating beats in the 1990s, but did not gain much recognition until the 2000 release of the single “What’s Your Fantasy”, which he produced for Ludacris. He would go on to work with Lil Wayne on his singles “A Milli” and “6 Foot 7 Foot”, with Beyoncé for her single “Video Phone” featuring Lady Gaga, and with Gucci Mane on “Lemonade”. In his very successful career, Bangladesh has worked with and produced for artists such as Usher, Nicki Minaj, and Rihanna. He would then go on to release his studio album Flowers & Candy in 2014.
