Arturo Castro

Arturo Castro is a Guatemalan actor, with an early career in theatre, he began as a television host, hosting a televised fundraiser with Latin celebrities, and then hosted his own show on Guatemala’s Conexion before moving to New York City.  His first role was in We are New York as Jorge/Fredy.

Followed up by a role in the comedy series Broad City alongside Abbi Jacobson and Hannibal Buress, he worked on the show for three years before appearing in the films Ace the Case as Juan, Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk as Mango Montoya alongside Chris Tucker and Steve Martin.  Currently, Castro is best known for portraying David Rodriguez in the Netflix hit television show Narcos, and has been nominated for eighteen awards so far, winning three so far.
