Anuel AA

Anuel AA is the stage name of the Puerto Rican rapper and singer Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago. He was born in Carolina, Puerto Rico on November 26, 1992. He showed an interest in music as a teenager and decided to become a rapper in 2010 signing a deal with the record label Maybach Music Group. In 2011 he released his first song “Demonia” with the help of his father, who is also a rapper and the was the vice president A&R of Sony Music in Puerto Rico, and the rapper Néngo Flow. He released his first mixtape in 2016 and titled it Real Hasta la Muerte: The Mixtape. His first single to become incredibly popular was released in 2017 titled “Sola” and was made into a remix featuring Daddy Yankee, Farruko, Wisin, and Zion & Lennox. In 2018 he released his first full length album titled Real Hasta la Muerte. The album reached the number one spot on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart less than 24 hours after it was released. He also has a large following on Instagram with over 11 million followers.
