Angaleena Presley is an American country music singer and songwriter born in Beauty, Kentucky on September 1, 1976. She is best known for her involvement in the female country trio Pistol Annies with Miranda Lambert and Ashley Monroe. Presley has also had two critically acclaimed solo albums titled Wrangled and American Middle Class. In 2000 she moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue her music career and within nine months landed a publishing deal. In 2011 she became part of the trio Pistol Annies and that same year they released their debut album Hell on Heels. They spent the next two years touring North America and in 2013 released their second album Annie Up. In 2014 Presley released her debut solo album American Middle Class that reached number 29 on the US Country Albums chart. She released her second album in 2017 titled Wrangled. The Pistol Annies were nominated for three CMT Awards and an American Country Award. For her solo albums Presley was nominated for two UK Americana Awards for International Song of the Year and International Artist of the Year.
