Amanda Seales was born on July the 1st 1981 in Los Angeles and is an American radio personality, recording artist, DJ, actress and comedian. Also known by the stage name Amanda Diva and is also a member of the band Floetry in addition to being a successful solo artist. As a musician, Seales has released three well received EP’s and two mixtapes, all with a strong hip hop and R&B sound.
Some of her television roles include a breakout role as Deonce in the sitcom, My Brother and Me, before landing roles in Ladies Book Club as Helema and portraying Tiffany in the HBO comedy/drama series Insecure. Most recently, Seales can be seen playing Barbara in the hit American sitcom Blackish alongside Yara Shahidi and Anthony Anderson.
